CHANGE IS IN THE AIR. AND IN THE GROUND.

Funny how we can learn things from our kids. Sam Paul was a small business owner who was content making and selling traditional plastic bags. He knew that the plastic bag wasn’t perfect. The fact that it never biodegrades presented numerous environmental problems, and would only get worse over time. But the fact that consumers demanded plastic trash bags was impossible to ignore. And previous attempts at biodegradable trash bags generated weak bags that just couldn’t do the job.

Over time, Sam came under increasing pressure from his now-grown kids to solve this problem. They asserted that today's advances in technology are unrivaled. We do, after all, live in a world of space stations and cloned sheep. A better bag just had to be a possibility.

So Sam rounded up a team and got to work inventing a biodegradable trash bag that had the strength and price of regular trash bags. About five years after his kids got him thinking about it, Green Genius was born. And now Sam's old plastic bag company is making Green Genius biodegradable plastic bags possible. Call us crazy, but we think we'll be able to change the entire industry to biodegradable within the next 3 years.
